Vera Schoonbrood
Vera Schoonbrood is a Research Master student in Media and Performance Studies at Utrecht University, The Netherlands. She obtained a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor in Arts and Culture. Furthermore, she acquired a pre-master degree in Media Studies with a focus on film and television. Currently, she is assisting in the Digital Humanities research project QuaMeRDES which develops a exploratory analysis tool for (academic) audio-visual research. Furthermore, she participates in an educational research project (EMP) which focuses on modifying the bachelor’s curriculum by developing and incorporating interactive didactic models. Subsequently, she is a teaching assistant in the department of Media Studies. For her research internship she assisted the EUscreenXL project at Utrecht University; while focusing on issues such as ‘digital heritage’ and ‘participatory archiving’.
